Axeon KuroWiki is an open-source online encyclopedia planned to be launched as stable by the Axeon Network on the second half of 2026 (a.k.a H2). Its main purpose is documenting meanings of inside jokes and random things of the Axeon Network. It is primarily developed by KitSixtyFour and AveryEclipse.
KuroWiki was planned to be powered by MediaWiki with a custom user interface. However, it was decided instead to build a separate wiki engine, codenamed Akane, powered by Jekyll.
The wiki initially started in 4 May 2025 as HoriWiki, a Kit-focused encyclopedia built primarily by KitSixtyFour with the help of several contributors. It was later renamed to LexWiki in July 2025.
Since late August 2025, the wiki project had been under the Axeon Network bearing the current KuroWiki name, following an agreement between the KuroWiki project founder KitSixtyFour and Axeon’s founder and CEO AveryEclipse, who would join the primary development team after previously being one of HoriWiki/LexWiki’s major contributors.
After the agreement, KuroWiki expanded its content to not only cover Kit stuff, but to also cover Avery stuff and the Axeon Network as a whole.
