NishiLappy (formerly known as Thei5Lappy; model Dell Latitude 3380) is a laptop manufactered by Dell Inc. in February 2017. It is the successor to TheCeleryPC and was KitSixtyFour’s main computer from November 2024 to April 2026. It was succedded by CometLappy on 27 April 2026.
Background
For more information, see TheCeleryPC § History
TheCeleryPC, an eMachines ET-1810 with an Intel Celeron 420 processor, used to be Kit’s main computer from mid 2021 to late 2024. It was used for several purposes, including the creation of many StuffyXP videos and several other projects made by Kit, such as the June 2025 Stuffy Website.
After a power outage on November 3, TheCeleryPC stopped functioning, more specifically, the power supply was partially fried, causing DC-reliant components to not work at all. One of the symptoms of this problem was the computer’s fans spinning up without any display output.
From November 3 to November 28, 2024, all of Kit’s projects officially went on a haitus.
Name
The computer was originally known as Thei5Lappy since 29 November 2024, the latter becoming a reference to TheCeleryPC’s nickname; as it followed the same naming system: The being used as an obligatory prefix, i5 being the computer’s processor, and Lappy being a common nickname for the word laptop.
Between July and August 2025, it was temporarily known as SuperNova, following the now-cancelled Nova Naming Scheme. It was reverted in September 2025 following the introduction of the Nekori64 alias in August of the same year.
Since November 2025, it has been known under the name NishiLappy, the latter being a merger of Nishi (Kit’s fursona) and Lappy.
Both Thei5Lappy and NishiLappy had been used simultaneously between November 2025 and March 2026: Thei5Lappy was used to refer to the computer itself, while NishiLappy was used as the computer’s hostname (also known as a computer name).
Following the introduction of CometLappy in April 2026, the Thei5Lappy name had been officially retired for consistency reasons.
