TheCeleryPC (model eMachines ET1810-03¹) is a desktop computer manufactered by eMachines in 2009.² It was KitSixtyFour’s main PC from 2021 up until 2024. It was succeded by NishiLappy in November 2024.

The nickname TheCeleryPC is a nod to the computer’s processor (an Intel Celeron 420), the latter’s processor family being commonly jokingly named “Celery” online.

History and Overview

The computer was given to Kit as a birthday gift coming from their uncle in 19 June 2021. The computer originally ran a 32-bit copy of Windows 7 Professional despite the computer’s processor being x64 compatible.

Over the computer’s lifespan, it ran many operating systems such as Windows Vista, Ubuntu Server, Windows 10, and many other Windows-based and Linux-based operating systems, even to the point of a quadboot.

The computer’s first public appearance was on 2023 on a StuffyXP video showcasing Kit installing Windows 7 on the computer. Over time, the computer was used to make the first seven videos of the channel up until Geometry Dash… on Windows Vista!?, where the latter was made in Thei5Lappy, where the latter was used unti the last StuffyXP video.

Death of the PSU

Once electricity was reinstated in Honduras following an outage on 3 November 2024, TheCeleryPC turned on “all of a sudden” by itself and started making fan noises while also been smelling like smoke. Kit had posted a Short about it on StuffyXP channel, which would be the final public appearance of the computer in a video.

In the StuffyXP Wrapped: 2024 Edition blog post, Kit stated that after an investigation with their dad, they eventually figured out that when power came back, it “overloaded the thing that gives DC making it no longer give DC, making some components unable to power on”. Parts relying on AC (such as the fans) continued to work.

StuffyXP and other of Kit’s projects at the time have went on a hiatus for the following few weeks until being replaced by Thei5Lappy (now known as NishiLappy) as Kit’s main PC in late November 2024.

Bottom labels

Apparent from the computer’s bottom labels (alongside the Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity sticker), the computer was used as a game server at some point before it was given to Kit, apparent by seeing how many years Kit’s uncle had the computer (12 years or lower if the latter had it since 2009). Interestingly enough, the computer did not have any game server-related software when it was given to Kit, so it was used as a game server before 2021 or earlier.

Due to the Certificate of Authenticity sticker still being present in the computer, Kit technically³ legally owns a Windows Vista Home Basic product key.
